Rigorous mathematics
Our teachers plan rigorous mathematics lessons by using the Bridges and Engage NY Curriculum.
English Language Arts
Our team focuses on reading and writing from Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Students are taught to use the 'power of the pen' to express their innovative ideas.
Early Literacy Development
Our students are offered scientifically proven literacy programming that helps them develop the skills necessary to read fluently.
Data Driven Instruction
Our colectivo analyzes our students' work and test results to make up-to-date and individual decisions that support each one of our children.
Magonistas take Spanish classes in order to support bilingualism and English Language Development. Bilingualism is a cognitive and socioeconomic asset for everyone and will enrich our students for years to come.
Technology Classes
Magonistas learn to use Chromebooks and desktops from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Their lessons include coding, creative use of digital applications, typing, and more!
Art Classes
Students create art pieces from a variety of cultures to celebrate diversity and heritage.
Our students participated in an exhibition at Museo de las Americas focused on the Day of the Dead.
Magón Academy prides itself in providing healthy food for our students. We work with Revolution Foods to ensure that our children receive nutritious foods that they want.
RFMA offers before and after school care for our families. The program starts at 6:00am and ends at 6:00pm every day.
